City of Enterprise Accepted into the Oregon Main Street – Exploring Downtown Program
Submitted by mjn on Thu, 08/21/2008 - 13:57.The City of Enterprise has just received notice that their application to participate in the Oregon Main Street – Exploring Downtown Program was accepted. The Oregon Main Street program, recently re-established by the Oregon Legislature in 2007, builds on a successful state program that previously existed from 1982 to 2002. The goal of the program is to provide assistance to all communities wanting to revitalize their downtowns, preserve their unique identity, and create opportunities for economic development.

Oregon's best fiddle/guitar/mandolin workshop will see its 4th season in Wallowa, July 7-11, 2008. Register at http://wvmusicalliance.org/fiddletunes by May 31 and get in for only $75 for a week of classes, jamming, and dancing for all ages, family-friendly, at the Wallowa School.
